At Atlas Tavern we seek out the best possible beers from around the world and up the block. You can be sure that if it made it to our tap lines, it’s a beer we love from a brewery we respect. We want to share those beers with you.

RHINEGEIST - CINCY LIGHT American Light Lager, Cincinnati (4.2%) $6.5- a refreshingly crisp lager brewed in partnership with Cincy Reigns benefitting student-athletes. This easy-drinking classic is the perfect way to celebrate Ohio.

DOWNEAST CIDER DONUTS- Cider, Boston Massachusetts (5.1%)$7.5  A [limited] but yearly favorite. you can skip apple picking this year and just drink one of these. cinnamon, brown sugar, and hints of vanilla with a fresh pressed cider backbone.

NORTH COAST BREWING - SCRIMSHAW German Pilsner, California (4.5%) $7 Fresh Tasting Pilsner brewed in the finest European tradition using malt and Hallertauer and Tettnang hops. Subtle hop character, crisp, clean palate, and a dry finish.

STONE - BUENAVEZA- Mexican Lager, California (4.7%) $7- Baja-inspired Mexican Lager brewed with sea salt and lime.  Brewed with just the right amount of lime and sea salt, it’s everything a lager should be – crisp, refreshing and full of flavor.

OHIO’S BEST

COLUMBUS BREWING COMPANY - IPA American IPA, Columbus (6.3%) $7.5 A nice mix of citrusy and pungent hops. Has some dry hopped character to the nose. The palate has a sharp pungent hop bite that lingers in a pleasant way.

HH*ZAFTIG-MINI BOMB BLONDE- Blonde, Columbus (5%) $7 Crisp, refreshing, and smooth with cereal malts; Mini Bomb is light and approachable, while not being overly hoppy, Subtle floral notes and unassuming citrus are present, but no one flavor dominates. The finish is soft, pleasant, and round. Clean

JACKIE O’S BARKING PUMPKIN- Pumpkin Ale,  Athens (8.5%) $9 Starting with a rich, grain laden base we layered in loads of brown sugar to deepen its lavish caramel tones. We then fermented with sweet, fruity pumpkin, and carved out a supple spice profile with the addition of a blend of pumpkin pie spices, fresh ginger, and vanilla beans.  Our friends at Jackie O’s only brew this every few years and only 1 keg made it to north Columbus.  Enjoy it while you can!

HOOF HEARTED- FASTEN YOUR FREAKBELT- Craft Pilsner, Columbus,  (5.4%) $7 A world-class New Zealand style pilsner brewed with eggers hops brings the flavor our friends at Hoof Hearted are known for.

DEVIL’S KETTLE-SPIDER SILK- Imperial  Blonde Ale, Athens (7%) $7.5  Light but strong blonde ale that artfully blends elements of English, German, and American brewing ingredients and traditions

GREAT LAKES NOSFERATU- Imperial red IPA, Cleveland (8.0%) $8.5 Sink your teeth into a rich, roasty, red Double IPA with a frightfully delectable hop bite. Only available in the autumn so get it while you can!

HH* PARSONS - ENGLISH ALE -Columbus (5.5%) $7.50 English Ale. Light, Lean, and Mellow. An Ale sure to leave you Content.

YELLOW SPRINGS - BOAT SHOW -IPA, Yellow Springs (7%) $7.5 Juicy tropical fruit and citrus notes blaze through this fresh and hoppy American IPA. It’s an IPA that drinks more like a strong pale ale. There is a low level of bitterness.

HH* FATHEAD’S-SPOOKY TOOTH- Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Middleburg, (9%) $9  Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices. Creamy mouthfeel with flavors of pumpkin followed by sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish.  This is a big, extreme pumpkin beer.  Get it while you can!

BEST OF THE US

HH* 3 FLOYD’S - MUNSTERFEST Oktoberfest, Munster, Indiana-(6.2%) $7.50 A Marzen-style fest bier brewed with the finest German malted barley, aromatic Bavarian noble hops and traditional lager yeast. This rich, malty lager is one of the few that remains true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810.

MAINE - LUNCH West Coast IPA, Freeport Maine (7%) $9.5 Our “East Coast” version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance. Lunch is a special whale that has been spotted off the Maine coast since 1982. She has what looks like a bite taken out of her fin, which adds to her unique character.

HH* HALF ACRE-DAISY CUTTER - American Pale Ale, Chicago- (5.2%) $7.5 A Chicago stalwart and universally loved pale ale. Blended pine, citrus, papaya and mango. Dank. Apparent biscuit, lingering, obscenely dry.

INTERNATIONAL’S BEST

GUINNESS Irish Dry Stout, Ireland (4.2%) $7 - Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm. Settle. Breathe in the moment, then break through the smooth, light head to the bittersweet reward. Unmistakably GUINNESS, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between. Pure beauty. Pure GUINNESS.

WEIHENSTEPHANER Hefeweizen, Germany (5.4%) $7.5 -from the oldest brewery in the world, founded in 1040 AD, comes the #1 ranked wheat beer in the world. Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill. If you like Blue Moon, you’re going to love this!

GAFFEL BECKER KÖLSCH Kolsch, Germany (4.8%) $7.5 The classic Gaffel Kölsch is a fresh brewed beer with water, malt and hop extract according to the tried and tested family formula and the German Purity Law of 1516. Boasted as the best Kölsch in the world!
