2nd semi-annual battle of the breweries

5 Breweries, 1 tavern, lots of people helped

We are coming up on our 1 year birthday! We’d like to celebrate our initial success, give something back to the community, and to kickoff the warm weather season with an amazing tap takeover that will be a blast for our customers old and new. Each brewery will bring 4 beers including some old favorites and something special for the evening. We’ll start out at 3PM with 60% off regular price and each hour we’ll lower the discount 10% until 8PM when pints will be normal price. Whichever brewery sells the most pints of beer will get a $400 match from Atlas Tavern for the charity of their choice. The second place brewery will get $200, third $150, and fourth and fifth place get $125. At Battle Of the Breweries One we gave over $3000 to charity, we are hoping to give at least $3500 at Battle 2 and hope to get to $10,000 by Battle of the Breweries 10 in 5 years.

First the breweries.
Rhinegeist DEFENDING BATTLE OF THE BREWERIES CHAMPION(Cincinnati)- Rhinegeist is bringing their “A” game. Margarita Monday will be making a rare central Ohio appearance. We’ll also get the stalwart Cheetah and a special Hazy IPA to be named later. On top of all that Nitro Cobbstopper will be on that evening and we couldn’t be more excited about having that beer to begin the Spring season. Their charity is Choices Ohio

Homestead Beer Co.-(Heath)-These guys are bringing some heavy hitters! After missing the victory by 5 pints at The Battle One, they’re looking to get over the top for the win this time. Their ever popular Wandering Yeti IPA will be here in addition to the Easy Fellah session IPA for some easy drinking fun. We’ll also see Sun Kissed Wheat to kick off the spring and the mysterious Engine 6 experimental IPA. Their charity is the Dude Charity, which is a fundraising group that donates to a different charity every month.

Fathead’s (Canton)- Upstart contenders are playing their cards close to the chest for their shot at the title. Check back here soon! They are hoping to rake in some donations for Advocating Opportunity which provides holistic legal services for trafficked and exploited persons.

Wolf’s Ridge- (Columbus) -Our friends from Columbus are bringing some tried and true favorites! Fan favorite Clear Sky Daybreak could be the one to push them over the top! We will also see hefe and wedge hefeweizen, Likewise American lager and Pack IPA. They are giving their winnings to Lunchbox Ohio who help children stay nourished in the summer months when there is no school meal program

Market Garden (Cleveland)-Our entry from Cleveland is ready to do battle with a great selection of Spring beer. In addition to their excellent shandy, we’ll be getting Frosty (a Lime and Tangerine Wit), Jerkle IPA and Nano, a crisp American lager. They will be battling for the West Side Catholic Center of Cleveland

And so we don’t feel left out;
Atlas Tavern
for every Burger we sell that day, we’ll donate $5 to the Huckleberry House.
Huckleberry House works with Central Ohio’s youth and families who are dealing with some of the most difficult problems imaginable. Issues like abuse, violence, neglect, poverty, and homelessness. No matter how hopeless the situation may seem, we offer proven programs and committed people who know how to help young people and families take control of their lives. So they can move past the circumstances they’re in, and move toward the future they want. huckhouse.
